So quick and easy.

"The Vitamix has made my cooking experience so easy and quick. I use it to make healthy pasta and curry sauces with no fat or oil. I also put the bones and carcass of the cooked chicken into the Vitamix with water and it crushes the bones to a smooth consistency, I then spoon some healthy chicken stock onto my dog's dry biscuits and they love it. All the family are getting a healthy meal. If you purchase the Vitamix and Bamix you will never need another kitchen gadget can't believe I waited so long to purchase it."

"I love love love my Vitamix.. I have a vegetable smoothy everyday. I use up to 8 -10 vegetables - it would be impossible for me to eat so many in any other way.
I would recommend Vitamix to anyone and have already persuaded my sister to buy one.

"Excellent, powerful machine. Great for smoothies and hot super-smooth soups in about 8 mins. The blades fear nothing! A great purchase. I certainly have not been disappointed. Would whole-heartedly recommend Vitamix."

Not for me!

"My fav soup is: Leek & potato, I was so dissapointed that I had to cook the potato first! So with that in mind, I used my Bamix to make the soup on the stove top as per usual. Ice cream did not match up to my expectations either. I will say though it did pulverise the frozen fruit very well. I spent a fortune on fruit, fresh and frozen, veggies, creams & yogurts so I could make all the things they did on the TV demos. As it turned out it was no better than my KitchenAid blender for fruit smoothies & drinks. Once I received the Vitamix and used it a handful of times I decided that the Vitamix is a far too expensive piece of equipment to sit on my work top waiting for me to have leftovers to use up. (I don't really have that much left over with my lot). I'm afraid I was seduced by the excellent TV demo's with this one. So it is with great sadness I have sent this machine back. I'll keep going with my Bamix & KitchAid blender."

"I'd been wanting one of these for ages and decided to "go for it" when flexi pay was offered. Main reason for purchase I make a lot of soups, and loved the idea of throwing things in and bingo within 5 to 8 mins homemade soup. Umm an idea it turned out to be, potato, butternut, peas, have to be cooked before blending in the vitamix, and can't just be chucked in, from raw. I did tomato and pepper soup in 7 mins, it was good, it does blitz chicken bones to make fab stock. Peanut butter, nightmare to get out of container, very noisy when blending. The cookbook advises to take stones out of fruit prior to blending and the vitamix.co.uk kindly sent a list of what they recommended to take out. I do this when my other blender and juicer, and thought the vitaxmix would and could blitz fruit stones, which isn't the case. Made a drink with pineapple and part of the core hadn't blended. Its an expensive purchase. I've sent the vitamix back as it does nothing above and beyond a higher quality hand blender at a lesser price."

Best buy ever!!

"I love, love, love my vitamix!! I bought mine about a year ago and use it so often. When people turn up unexpectedly, I whip up a fancy ice-cream and iced coffees, I constantly want to show people what you can do with it, particularly the soups which I think are fabulous! I am always making delicious smoothies with different fruits and even make playdough for school which is so smooth and professional looking. I know it's expensive but I use it more than any other appliance and it is so handy for a quick meal."

"i bought a smoothie maker which i have to say was good but cheap to start making green smoothies to get healthier and found it ok but the i knew i was going to start wanting to eat healthier all round, so wanted to upgrade the blender. i thought about this one but because i thought it dear i bought a in between priced blender, i have to say very good and would be costly to some people but it didnt just get rid of them raspberry pips and make it completely smooth so passed it on too a friend and had to have this, wished i had got this in first place. it is fab makes the smoothiest of smoothies lovely soup in just the right of amounts for 2 people and the ice cream is great. i dont hanker after a better one there isnt one and although refurbed it is just like new, with new blender jug and i can only recommend. if you want a blender dont bother wasting your money on any other go straight for this you wont regret it."

"I purchased an earlier model but would highly recommend Vitamix.
Amongst lots of things I love fresh orange and lemon juice so throw in a handful of both fruits with added water, including the peel etc and then pour the juice into silicone muffin moulds, pop them in the freezer, thenwhen frozen, take them out of the moulds and put in a freezer bag. When required I just take out a 'fruit' cube and add either cold or hot water - gorgeous.
whilst watching the latest vitamix demonstration i have just made a smoothie with my celery, half a bag of mixed spinach, watercress and rocket (on the turn), an apple, half a melon, lime juice and an avocado - delicious.
I then added all the peelings and pips etc including a banana skin and some egg shells and used them as fertiliser in my garden.
long live the vitamix!!"

"Wonderful smoothie maker and is saving me so much money each month. I have veg smoothie mornings and fruit evenings. Have not had a cold or felt under the weather since I got it before Christmas. I purchase fruit and veg on special offer and the surplus wash, cut up and store in freezer for when needed so nothing is thrown away. Any veg & fruit peelings are also made into liquid with the machine and poured on the garden. Accidently emptied 1/2 can evaporated milk in instead of coconut milk, the smoothie was delicious. I experiment with different quantities of all the fruit and veg I like and have never had a drink I didnt like. So easy to clean, expensive but I think I will save the cost of the machine over the year as by drinking more smoothies they are very filling I am not eating as many snacks and cakes. Looking forward to the summer when all my home grown produce can be used."

"I bought this for many reasons, the soup is good, I am eating vegetables that do not have all the goodness and taste boiled out of them. I do not use seasoning any more. Add warm milk to the soup to make it richer or cream if your entertaining. Fruit sorbets are wonderfully refreshing, fruit juices with a brussel sprout throne in for good measure or ginger flavouring for the extra zap needed in the morning. I cant say Ieave the peel on the citrus fruit, I found it too bitter, but it is pips and all with apples and pears. Roll on the summer. I haven't made ice cream yet I will wait till the fruit is in season."

"I am really sorry that I have to write a poor review of this product, I bought it specifically to make soups and am very very disapointed, the machine does heat up the food to a hight temperature but I find that the food is not cooked properly and everything has a bitter taste, the way it cooks by friction makes the soup very thick and bubbly not a nice texture. I am really upset as I thought this would be a good purchase to enable me to make delicious soups."

"This is the best machine in the kitchen, I make a green smoothie everyday and I have noticed the health benefits from having a better balance of fruit and veg.
Shame it does not come with the dry jug.
